here’s to unfinished spaces coming along. here’s to unfinished hearts coming along too.
here’s to giant chalkboards and to gigantic reminders too. # hereallyissodanggood
this space, like so many things, has become a metaphor.
here’s a blurb from the night this summer when I was styling this space:
“tonight I’ve been playing a ton with this space. aaand Nate’s not too sure about it, hahaha, and mostly because he wants to know what I’m going to do in the spaces around our home where I stole these from.. these are our upstairs guest room nightstand, my bedside dresser, and our living room end table.
I’m betting on him coming around. innovation here at its finest, and the same will happen in those other, now empty, places. I love how necessity beckons our creativity right out into the empty spaces we find ourselves in.
finding yourself in an empty space lately? holy crap, am I ever. as I’m typing this caption, I’m realizing this dining room wall/space represents my journey so much right now, my word ::
•seemingly empty, and yet full of potential
•awkwardly between phases, and therefore begging creativity, innovation, hope, + trust
•knowing destruction + renovation are around the corner — somewhere
•and surprisingly beautiful through it all.
this wall. my dang life. holy crap. # epiphanyrn praise the good Lord for ig captions and refreshing realizations.
hahaha, my word. I’ve gotta go think on this whole sitch for another sec. brb.”
May you take a look around to see what lessons are right in front of you, asking you to see them, recognize them, and embrace them.
